Toddler Program

Teachers provide individualized care and attention to toddlers in a warm and nurturing environment. Teachers work closely with parents to help the toddlers pass smoothly through various developmental stages and daily written reports keep parents informed. Throughout the year the toddlers are acquiring new self-help and social skills and the ability to positively interact in a community setting. The program’s creative curriculum develops fine and gross motor skills, art appreciation, and always includes language-rich activities.

Throughout the day, children have opportunities to participate in both large and small group activities that incorporate Science, Technology, Relationships, Engineering, Art and Math (STREAM). Transitional Kindergarten

ACC’s comprehensive transitional/traditional kindergarten program reflects our philosophy that every child is an eager and capable learner. The educational component of the program meets the required kindergarten standards and also provides a wealth of additional learning experiences. Each day the children are exposed to enriching materials and stimulating ideas and concepts. At the end of the school year, depending on their birth date, children are well prepared to enter either kindergarten or first grade.

ACC’s school-age programs provide a safe, consistent, and fun environment for children in grades kindergarten through 5. Children have a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities to choose from. The children are encouraged to organize games, play cooperatively, and resolve conflicts, just as they would in their own neighborhoods. Ample time is scheduled for homework, and the staff is available to help. During public school vacations, the school-age programs extends to a full day with field trips, theme days, and swimming.
